Germes Car Rental Terms and Conditions

General Guidelines and Information:

Age Requirement: Hirers must be at least 25 years old.
Driver’s License: Hirers must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 1 year.
Fuel Policy: Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when they were rented.
Liability: Hirers are responsible for all damage to the vehicle and for all traffic fines.

Geographical Limits:

Mileage Allowance:

Daily/Weekly Rentals: 250 km per day, AED 0.50 to 5 (depending on model) per km after that.
Monthly Rentals: 4500 km per month, AED 0,5 to 5 (depending on model) per km after that.

Damage:

Hirers are responsible for all damage to the vehicle, including interior, exterior, windshield, tires, wheels, tools and wheel cap damage.
Hirers must obtain a police report for any damage to the vehicle.

Rental Period & Return Policy:

Rental charges are on a 24-hour basis.
There is a 2-hour grace period for returning the vehicle. Any delay beyond 2 hours will result in an additional day’s charge.
Hirers must inform Germes Car Rental at least 4 hours in advance if they need pick-up service for the return of the vehicle in Dubai.
Hirers must inform Germes Car Rental at least 24 hours in advance if they need pick-up service for the return of the vehicle in any other emirate.
You’ll have 20 minutes of free waiting time for the customer, and after that, it will be billed at a rate of 100 AED per hour.

Payments & Other Charges:

A security deposit of AED 1500 to 3000 (depending on the car model) is required at the time of rental.
Salik charges are AED 5 per crossing.
A 5% VAT charge will be applied to the service charge.

Fines:

Hirers are responsible for all traffic fines incurred during the rental period.
Hirers will be charged an AED 20 acknowledgment fee plus a 30 AED service charge for all fines.
A 5% VAT charge will be applied to the service charge.

Service/Maintenance:

All rental fees include periodical servicing fees.
The hirer must notify Germes Car Rental at least 2 days before the next servicing.
In the case of vehicle breakdown, Germes Car Rental will provide a replacement car as soon as possible.
Hirers are responsible for all repair costs if they do not have the vehicle serviced at the allocated times.

Additional Driver:

Insurance:

All vehicles are insured for driving on paved roads within the UAE.
If the hirer has not purchased Super CDW and the vehicle is in total loss, the hirer is liable to pay an additional charge.
Windshield, tires, wheels, tools, and wheel cap damage are not included in the insurance.

Legal Issues:

Impounding:

Hirers are liable to pay Germes Car Rental the impounding charges plus loss of rental charges in the case of the vehicle being impounded by authorities.

Germes Car Rental uses cookies to collect information about users’ visits to the website. This information is used to improve the website and the user experience.
Users can disable cookies in their browser settings.

Online Booking – Terms & Conditions:

Online bookings must be made at least 3 hours in advance.
The minimum rental period for a vehicle from Germes Car Rental is 1 day.
The maximum rental period for a single vehicle is 24 months.
Your final rate quote will include all mandatory charges, VAT, any other tax as made applicable by governing authorities, amount of KM’s/ Miles included, Third Party liability insurance Collision Damage.
